Specialist Support for Children with Food Allergies and Feeding Difficulties

Welcome to The Children's Nutrition Practice

Is your baby or child struggling with reflux, eczema, diarrhoea, constipation, feeding difficulties, poor growth or tube feeding? If you're worried about a possible food allergy or finding mealtimes increasingly stressful, it can be difficult to know where to turn for the right support. As a Specialist Paediatric Dietitian with over 20 years of experience in infant and childhood nutrition, including specialist roles at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Evelina London Children's Hospital, I have helped hundreds of families navigate complex feeding and allergy challenges with confidence. I specialise in supporting babies and children with cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA), other non-IgE mediated food allergies, feeding difficulties, tube weaning, and blended diets. Using practical, evidence-based strategies, I provide personalised support tailored to your child's individual needs and your family's goals. Through online consultations, I work with families across the UK and internationally to improve nutrition, manage symptoms, reduce mealtime stress, and help children develop a positive relationship with food. Together, we can create a clear, achievable plan that supports your child to grow, thrive, and enjoy food with confidence.

Testimonials

Hear what parents have to say:

‘Meeting Danielle was like a weight being lifted from our shoulders. She listened with such knowledge and respects how well parents know their children. Without even meeting our daughter she has made a dramatic difference to her well being and we feel confident that she is no longer missing out on vital dietary requirements. In addition we have a plan for her future dietary needs so no longer feel we are ‘practicing’ on our child. Thank you Danielle, what a blessing. We would recommend her to anybody!’
Lynsey
Mum of Evie, 7 years old
'We came to Danielle as exasperated parents of a ten month old on a feeding tube, having spent months trying to wean our daughter off her tube with little progress. Immediately after meeting Danielle online we finally felt a sense of hope and positivity about the prospect of weaning. Danielle was full of ideas and advice and always positive and reassuring in her interactions with us. Only a few months after meeting Danielle our daughter was eating and drinking enough that we were able to take out her tube. We can’t thank her enough.'

Parents of Lyra, 1 years old
‘Danielle - you were such a joy to work with. From our very first call, I felt so supported and comforted by your expertise. You truly took the time to listen to our feeding journey with our baby, and gave expert advise on how to navigate some of the challenges. You constantly checked in to see how she was progressing, and continued to answer our many follow-up questions. I am so grateful to have found you, and would highly recommend you to anyone seeking a highly skilled, deeply empathetic Paediatric Dietitian.’
Chloe
Mum of Daisy, 3 months old
'We had a very fussy son who wouldn’t eat fruit or vegetables. Danielle came up with some brilliant strategies and recipe ideas and we were amazed and astounded at the transformation. Although our journey is not over yet, meal times are so much easier and the benefits to our son’s health are obvious. We cannot thank Danielle enough for her expertise, professionalism and caring demeanour – truly our food angel.'
Richard
Dad of Rex, 10 years old
‘As a new mother I was incredibly apprehensive about starting my baby on solid food and found the varied information online overwhelming. Danielle not only provided me with very specific and useful advice, taking me step by step through those early months, but she was also very patient and reassuring in the process.’
Denise
Mum of Isaac, 9 months old
